Multi Cultural Week

KS2 Educare loved kicking off our multicultural week by focusing on the diverse country of India. We started the morning by learning an Indian themed dance and tried to replicate a variety of Indian art #India #MulticulturalWeek #Dance #RangoliPatterns #LotusFlowerOrigami

This week our KS2 Educare have had a really enjoyable afternoon learning about Polish culture, food and street art #multicultural #Poland  Another amazing day of cultural discovery for our KS2 Educare children as they danced, listened and ate their way to understanding more about cultures across the globe, focussing on the Caribbean.

Year One and KS1 Educare have been celebrating multi cultural week by making origami creatures today. #Multiculturalweek #Origami

After FS2 Bubble B virtual trip to the rainforest in Central America this morning finding out about the environment which Strawberry Dart frogs, orangutans, and a whole host of different jungle creatures live in, we decided to make Venus fly traps in the afternoon. #creativelearning #MulticulturalWeek

Both our keyworker children and children at home have enjoyed learning about different cultures, dances, weather, art and countries this week to celebrate Multi Cultural Week.

Mrs Smith, our Dance teacher, also prepared some Bollywood and African dances for the children to learn. See below for the instruction videos and a glimpse of how KS2 Educare got on.
